Carly is a freelance film maker and graphic designer living and working in Portland, Oregon. While working in the Art and Special Effects departments on feature films such as “Into the Wild” (2006), “Untraceable”(2007) and “Twilight” (2008), Carly has prided herself on her attention to detail, creativity and efficiency. With a hunger for all creative media, Carly has experience in digital illustration, logo and identity design, DVD authoring and package design, web design, print layout and creative direction.
Carly’s career began with internships on local independent films.
While she was attending the University of Oregon, she produced, directed and edited her own award-winning documentary “A Place to Belong: The Zellers Family Story of International Adoption.” She earned dual Bachelor’s degrees in Electronic Media Journalism and Multimedia Design, as well as a Film Studies Certificate from the English Department. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a 4.06 GPA.
